Title: sidekick vibration and nose? help!
Post by: JXben1.6 on May 11, 2008, 05:23:40 PM
my kick has been running fine since i got it up until halfway through this past winter, i started to get a pretty heavy vibration when i accelerated past second gear and then it would go away when i let off the gas, it also would make a funny noise at this point. Now the other day i was driving home from school and i was coming out of the school parking lot and i heard a loud clunk and then something hitting the underside of the car, and it sounded like it was definetly something rotating so i immediately pulled over and looked under the car but i could not find anything broken and there was no oil or fluid anywhere. Any ideas on what this could be? i am going to put it up on a friends lift to take a closer look on Wednesday but i would like some ideas on where to start.

thanks,

Ben.

i would check tranny mounts, engine mounts, etc while I was under there. It is not the most likely problem, but I had a transmission crossmember break allmost all the way through and was causing all kinds of weird shit.
