Title: power steering swap?
Post by: Fasta76 on May 12, 2008, 06:51:48 PM
Hi guys!

Im getting ready to do the 1.6 swap into my sammy. I bought all the stuff from a tracker to do the power steering swap. But the box has no pit man arm? Can i use mine from my sammy? Or do i have to buy a new one? Im going to buy the swap kit from trail tough. And i was thinking of doing some sort of high steer to get rid of my Z-link. what one should i go with? Any ideas would be great.. I need all the help i can get..

Tom

So should i buy a drop pitman arm to go with the hi steer? Or just a stock pitman arm? What hi-steer kit do most guys run?

If you go over 6" of lift I would, t.t. or sky's high steer is nice plus they have the option for fj80 ends and a full high steer down the road if you do not have the funds now.
