Way cool racing! Is that the motorcross track next to SIR? We need more grass roots racing like that around.
Keep up the good work!

Looks like a blast. Did he break something about half-way through the race? It seemed like he slowed down a lot after going off the track slightly.
As for your racer, I think you should skip the 4.3L and go with a 3.8L out of a Pontiac. :D
I was looking at the schedule... no wonder you want to do this. Half the races are 30 minutes from your place. :D

3.8L is a great motor. A good friend has one in his CJ. Good low end and great power. I think it is rated at about 170 hp.

Nope, didn't break anything. However, if you hit a barrel you are DQ'd and the course got a little tighter. As for sprints..............just couldn't catch the V8's.
Raced at Ethel a few weeks ago.........only 4-6 seconds behind the big V8's w/600+ hp. Getting better with more seat time. Can't wait for Sean to get his done.

Any news from Bash on how the work is going on the Sammy we gave him?

SLOW VERY VERY SLOW. A donation of a couple thousand dollars would be great :)

So, are you going to race the 4 cylinder this year and 6 next year?
Going to Longview Sat.?
Trying to put together some special promo's from my sponsors for the WOHVA expo
-
yeah it's going to be the 4 until I can get all the stuff together for a 6 but we will see I may spring for a more powerful 4 cylinder from a toyota. not sure yet.
I built a house for it 2 weekends ago a nice 11 x 18 shed :P shed my rear.
I want to go Sat. but we'll see if it's in the cards.
When is the woha expo again?
