got a line on one, how big of a tire can it take?  what axles tranny gears does it have?  supposedly has a spring over right now.  what are the weaklinks?

As far as I know they have 4.56 diff gears and the t-case is a little lower geared than a SJ410. The last one I worked on had 235s on it. You can't go too big as the little 800cc motor doesn't have the poop to spin the tires.

You can't go very big on the tyres without sacrifcimg reliability. They have the narrow track axles so the Samurai bits won't fit without a bit of work. The 410 engine fits as do the 410 front disc brakes.
