Title: what kind of fluid do you put in the manual tranny on a tracker?

Check the manual, but I used 90w gear lube and Lucas additive. the maual should tell you exactly what kind and how much to use.

It's probably worth making certain that you are putting in GL-4.  The alternative, GL-5, may cause premature wear on yellow metal components in your synchros, etc.  Synthetic, like Royal Purple or others is a good idea, but expensive of course.

This is from the manual:

Gear oil API GL-5 SAE 75W-90 and it need almost 2 liter...
