Title: sami fuel tank

on my 1990 samurai the fuel tank never wants to fill all the way up and when its full it spits gas out. i recently replaced the pump on it.

   It sounds like a vent problem.

on the side kicks that I have there is a check valve in the main fill hose that looks like a ping pong ball that keeps you from over filling it, take the hose off and pull that valve out if it has one then you can over fill it and mess up your charcole canister.  ;)
