I am considering swapping my 4.625's for a set of 5.12's. When/if I do this, are those the only items that I need to replace? Will the current, sleeves and bearing things work, or do I need everything from where the 5.12's came from?

???
dude, we've already asked you once to post in the right section
-
Well is this not the Do It Yourself forum??? What forum should I post this is???
-
I think they want you to put it in the "Suzuki Forum" section.
This section is for people that are building up there rigs, and for people showing how to make snorkels, and other things that can be done from your garage.

that pretty much sums it up right there
as you posted a general "repair"
now if you did the gear swap and documented it with pictures and instructions
the How-To/DIY section is the place to be

Look in here, might help you.
And yeah, wrong place dude ;)

Don't worry about it OHIO_ZUKI , this place is a little confused itself. No A&E, no tech, no seperation of the generations so you kinda have to guess where to post your question.
Don't let these guys drag you down.

why is this the wrong section?

why is this the wrong section?
This is the right section. Before it was in the Do It Yourself section, which is for project write-ups.

Just get complete thirds and swap them. Much easier than swapping and setting up gears.
But if you want to swap and set up gears......yes, the bearings and crush sleeve is the same in the 5.12 and 4.62 thirds. The only difference in 89-98 trackick 4.62 and 5.12 thirds is in 96 the front started using 26 spline axles and sidegears.
