So i've got autohubs on my trackick...
I havent been offroad in a couple weeks (shame on me), but I notice i've developed a slight oil leak dripping from my front diff each time i park up, and when i check my front diff is warm as if its all been spinning. Surely my front drive shafts should NOT be spinning in while i'm in 2wd... and nothing should be going on in this diff!? Does this mean my 'not so clever' auto hubs are in fact still engaged?
How can i determine if they are working 100%? I've searched a little but not found the info
Never had a problem with them in the past, therefore never touched them...

Jack up a front wheel and give it a spin. If the cv shaft spins with the wheel, then the auto hub is stuck in the locked position, if not, then it's free. Jack up the other side and check it out as well.

Ok, so i jacked up each side, both wheels seemed locked.
I now have a new question... I assumed my hubs were auto, becasue i dont have a switch on the end of them... but is there such a thing as just a fixed hub? (as in always on?) :-[ maybe i dont even have auto hubs!? haha

The auto hubs say something like automatic on the end of them. If yours doesn't have any knob or writing of any kind then they might be fixed hubs...

Early Vits didn't have Free Wheeling Hubs just a small splined cap.
