Im swapping my pooched tranny for a newer one.Is there anything important I should know.And what sort of time am I looking at?

Is there any gasket between the tranny and the trans case?

I did my clutch over a weekend - if I didn't have a friend there, I wouldn't have got it in. They come in handy, and it's a lot safer than having a trans fall on ya.

Ok so I need one of my sidekicks to help me...check...What about a gasket between the tranny and the transfer case???????not check....over ???

I would say no but you could always use silicone seal if you have to.

oh ya the case should come apart easy, if not look for the hard to find bolt on the top under the shift tower.
