This seemed 2 b the place 2 ask questions as 2 what mods are best & how far u can go b4 needing body & suspension lifts. i used 2 use j.c.whitney & 4wheel parts 4 aftermarket enhancements. Neither of these had any suzuki or tracker on their sites. So i also need new sources.
i drive a newly aquired 99 tracker 4dr auto 4x4 2.0L.
Exhaust- mine is pretty gone. i already installed an K&N & plan 2 add a snorkel. . Would like 2 know what is a good replacement 4 the exhaust. particularly if inspections weren't relevant..
Shocks- have used trailmaster SSVhydraulic shocks on other vehicle w/ excellent results. They allow the wheels 2 fall so fast into a pothole that you never get the impact, jarring or unleveling you get w/ standard or air schocks. The factory ones that r on this tracker are definetly inferior by comparison.
Tires- put 30"allterrain bfg on it 4 awhile. bad potholes caused jarring & could hear rubbing noise 4 an instant. also caused speedo & odometer 2 show 5+ mph less than actual. i can adj 2 it now that i know. Seems that larger tires will increase the diff even more.
spark plugs- i really stay on this kinda thing. wondering if these should have ACDelco like the local autozone guy said or ?.

Shocks, struts and springs - nothing beats Old Man Emu.
This is a Japanese engine, and the best plugs for it are NGK and Nippondenso.
