hey yall so i fixed the egr situation, im hella stoked but i have a little prob happenin now, the truck runs great cold, and drives perfect all the time it just has idle issues when you come to a stop. when comming to a stop, it usually has a high idle around 1700 then over corrects and either stalls, or just gets really low like 400rpm then corrects its self again and idles fine.
I already readjusted the throtle possition sensor to factory specs, but does anyone else have any idea wut this is?

My '96 Tracker had, I believe, a bad capacitor on the ECU. If, after starting it, I didn't let the idle "settle" on its own prior to driving off, it would want to die the next time I'd come to a stop (like at a stoplight or whatever). It could be just a few seconds later, or hours; just the next time it was time to idle, it'd want to die and, if I let it, die it would. Upon re-starting, of course, all I'd have to do is let the idle settle and it'd run like a top all day long.
Took forever to figure out that particular idiosyncacy.

After cleaning out my EGR I reset the computer (left the battery unplugged most of the day) then it took a few days of driving for the idle to settle down.
