I need to replace the output bearing on a 93 kick. The yoke and bearing have gave up the ghost. Can I just remove the back part of the T-case and press out the bearing, then do the opposite to install? Or do I have to remove the whole case and split it on the bench. Any help would be great.
Thanks

I've always found it easer to take something out rather then laying on my back trying to fix it.

I recently did the 6.5 : 1 t-case gears and i believe the rear output bearing is impossible to get out without dropping the entire t-case. cause the output assembly has a snap ring holding it together and i needed a hydraulic press to get the bearings off.
here's a pretty good illustration http://trail-gear.com/tech/zuk65gears/index.html

I think he is talking about a tracker t case, it has a needle bearing that has to be pulled from the back.
