Cut the shaft, add (weld) a section
of tube that fits snug on the shaft

Done

look past the header tube at the shaft,
you will see a welded spot where I added
some tubing, next to the turbo outlet

No the steering shaft won't be
long enough to reach the steering box

You have to modify this after the body lift
so you know how long the added tube needs
to be

Yes, remove the box side of the
steering shaft before you start to
lift the body, I forgot, and it took
me 30 Min to figure out why I couldn't
push the dang body back far enough
the get my spacers in   ::)

P.S. lift the body with a floor jack, and
a large piece of board to support the
body, otherwise it wants to bend the
floor of the Trucklet up
