ZUKIWORLD will be at the press launch for the equator here in a couple of weeks. Are there any questions of comments that you'd like us to ask ASMC? Post 'em up here and we'll do our best to get them asked / stated.

Will Suzuki be offering accessories/add ons for new owners to personalize their new vehicle to help stimulate aftermarket companies intrest in the new truck?

Will Tow packages be available to raise the towing capacity of the truck?

Would they like to trade on even for a highmileage 95 GMC Suburban?

Will they be bringing over the Jimney as well so they have a high mileage 4x4 to compliment the Equator?  :P

I'm more interested in the after market options.  Will they be contracting out to existing shops like they are doing with the SX4's turbo option?

I think I read somewhere the towing capacity is 6500#?  Is that right?   If it is I would think that would be enough for me... Just my 2 cents....

EDIT: I just saw the pics and of course they messed it up and put some ugly chrome and plastic bumper on it... I was really hoping for something cool and useful...

Well, here's what I gathered from the presentations and the walk arounds of the pickup. Towing capacity is 6300 lbs. 6500 has been mentioned but as I understand that, it was a typo. I didn't gather that there was any partnering with aftermarket providers at this point but many of the Nissan products 'should' work.

....and sorry Zig, no trade for Suburban.  ;)
