My Tracker has become pretty much my DD and now that the wife and I are commuting together it sits until the winter. A few years ago I was up on the scene but now I'm almost back to square one.
She needs help getting into it and I was thinking some nerf bars or rock rails would work nicely. Who's got them and is any one the current "hot deal"?
Really just need steps more than the ability to take a hit as I'm not wheeling it much at all anymore. It's a '96 Tracker 4x4 2 door soft top with the 3" Calmini body lift.

Welding 2x4 steel in is great for protection, but it doesn't give you much of a step. :)
I have the Trail Tough tube rockers, they hang outside the body and might work well enough if you put some non-skid tape on top of them from a deck. You might be better off building something so you can get it to stick out further and sit lower then normal rocker protection will.
