its an 88 sukuki samurai 1.3..... revs all the way to rev limiter with clutch in...then if you let the clutch ou t ( put the motor under load) it starts bogging and stalls.... any ideas ??? im a newbie with this samuari... 8) thanks jon

fuel starvation...assuming your not trying to take off in 4th gear :)

sounds like either in 4th or ebrake on...even if it doesnt look like its on check see if its ceased on??

where does your clutch engage?

OK... just funning you. We need more info. Since you have had the Sam, has it ever ran normal. Do you have a Webber carb on it? It could be a spark problen also. ..weak coil...bad wires.... cracked dist cap. Check the condition of all you can and give us more info...

Add a thick ground wire from the engine to the battery and the body, your engine may be grounding itself through the clutch wire.

+1 check the grounds to the firewall

maybe your tranny is stuck between grears?
