Title: Steering issue, any ideas
Post by: toofaroffroad on September 22, 2008, 10:58:05 AM
I'm getting a serious shuddering in my steering wheel from around 40 mhr to 55mhr. I have recently had the tires checked and balance and also had an alignment done. Any ideas what this could be?

did this start after haveing  the tires checked and balance and alignment.  Did they rebalance the tires?  Did you try swapping the the fronts for the rear? Check for missing wheel weight, the ball joints, tie rod, wheel bearings, and struts.

It was inner tie-rod ends. They were warn out on the ball joint. Made it shudder on the highway, thanks
