Title: Help for a Tracker owner...Please?
Post by: tarajunki on September 25, 2008, 02:10:55 PM
Hi guys,

I appologize if this question has been asked before ( I stop in here when I can) but I have a 94 Geo tracker with a Calmini 3" suspension lift installed running 30" tires with the proper backspaced wheels.

Anyway, after about three years the lift kit has settled (springs?) quite a bit therefore losing the height I desire. If I put in two each,1" spring spacers on each spring would it work to give me back some height?I mean is it possible to do this without any damage to anything on my vehicle? Also is there posted anywhere instructions on how I would do this?> I would like to try it myself.

Also is there any other way I could get more lift, besides a body lift kit? Air springs?

Here is the link to the spring spacers:

Thanks for  any help...

---Steve

Jeff1997 sells spacer on the board that work great.  A lot of people have thrown them under the front end to help the sagging spring problem.

There was a recent discussion on ordering after market springs instead and just replacing them.
