Title: 4wd indicator light
Post by: bluezuki87 on September 27, 2008, 09:14:33 PM
hey guys, first post! new to suzuki, finnaly got a 87 sammi soft top. i have a few questions about ti though. the 4wd indicator light is staying on even when it is in 2wd. i am thinking it is just a sensor but did not know if this is a common problem or not. the temp and speedometer gauges are also not working, i think the speed is the cable, still need to get in there and tinker with it some. there is also a sensor light flashing on the cluster, did not know it that ment the coolant temp sensor or not. any input would be great. thanks in advance!!!

here it is, payed $500 for it and drove it home!!!

It's clean, 500 and runs?  Nice score.  :)

My sensor just went out on my SJ, but it is because of broken wires.  You can unplug the sensor on the Transfer case to see if the light turns off.  A replacement sensor shouldn't be that much.

You might have a grounding issue on the cluster issues.  What does the sensor light look like?
