Maybe this has an obvious answer that I'm unaware of (like a host of other things ::) ), but has anyone suffering from power loss due to larger tires tried a cam designed for low end power?
I'm assuming that with the larger tires you're running lower RPM. If so, would a cam designed for power in the low end of the RPM range help?

My Tracker suffers from the strain of large tires.... :) I'd assume a low-end cam would help out, along with a header, exhaust, intake, and any other power-gaining mod. 5.83's would help, too ;D

Honestly I dont know if you could notice a differece. I didnt. :-/ I think the power gain is minimal from the cam. Mabey combine with a header and cat back it may be more substantial.

I had a custom grind put on my Cam,
Engle Cam Gringing in Santa Monica
did it for me before anyone had performance
Cams available, I noticed much better power
with the 235 tires I used to run before I went
with 33s and 5.83 gears, now I have noticed
a power gain, but forced induction does that
and the Cam makes little to no difference when
you force feed an engine.
