Great news ;D ;D ;D
-
Ya that's great news....... But I have an
Automatic Trans, and want a 3:1 gear set,
not a 4.24:1 that would be too low for my
liking and driving, I want some reduction
offroad, but not a 25 MPH top speed in low

You can't do more than 20mph in a 5-speed either ;)
So don't be in such a rush and savior the moment ;D

I wish i had the money for some t case gears...I wish i wasn't so poor. (Actually I have another project) So yeah that gets kicked in the butt.
-
I tell you what.
Splurge NOW and get it.
it'll never be cheaper.
I waited a year to get one and when I buy one
Damn
someone makes it more affordable
I could have saved 350 bucks. :o
Now I have One less part :-/
-
Thats A LOT of splurge. I need a new top before winter........I would if i Could. But money is tight so I can't! :( :'(

Thats what Visas are for ;)
Ya, I know it sucks.
If I didn't have a useless truck payment
and O/charged Visa :-[
I'd buy one and save it for another project in the future.
Cause you know You can't quit being a Zukaholic Cold Turkey. ;)
And I'm No Quiter ;D
-
Oh hell no I'm not quittin the zuK!! My plastic is already charged right up there, and I certainly don't have money burnin a hole in my pocket. Do the t-case gears lower the high range too?

I savor every moment I'm haullin ass
sliding around the corners, hard to slide
at 20 MPH :P I can hit 50 now and somtimes
that's too slow for the desert and the dunes.
Low low range is cool for crawlin, but I do
more than crawlin, *sigh* I need twin T-cases
so I can get the best of 2 ranges, another
project to add to the list ;)

Know what you mean about having some fun. Did a trip yesterday and was having some serious fun in low doing 5500-6500rpm and running around 55mph on some tight, winding dirt roads ;D Although I will be putting in some crawler gears in a few weeks then I'll just have to use 4hi for that sort of stuff
-
Ya, but the shift from low to high
is not a fast one, it would be cool
if there were a way to shift it quickly
like a transmission. I've learned how
to shift on the fly, but then again I
have been driving Semi Trucks for 15
years, and have learned how to syncronize
the gears to shift the trans.
I tell you a 3:1 T-case would be good
for speed as well as being about twice as
low as stock low range gears

Man, Wild, I wish I had video of you on chicken corners, and on the high speed sections of fins and things and poison spider mesa. It was so cool when your turbo spooled up and you launched! ;D Man, you can fly!
:)
-
;D You Heather have seen first hand
why I like the gears I got, and still would
like some crawler gears too, I'm so torn
between power and speed :-/
It's just not fair, I need a second T-case,
Like I said, somthing else to work on
;D ;D ;D

any info on the t case double for a Kick/tracker as i think thats got to be the best option, maybe i will start a new thread
-
Looks like the OTT Kicker2 is the
mod for T-case doubling, puts a
Toyota case in front of a Kick case,
I wonder what engine combo they
are using to work that, the info on
the site is not clear on this point
