Title: 5 speed trans question please help

 I just bought a 2000 tracker 4 door with a 2.0 5 speed.The trans has bearing noises.I have a 91 Sidekick 1.6 5 speed that I'm parting out.Will the 5 speed from the 91 fit the 2000?Any help will be greatly appreciated

I believe that the bellhousings are different between the 2 trannys, so your idea might not work. You might want to chack the gear ratio's of the two transmissions to see if they are different as well.
