My new DD 4-dr has a worn out Hime joint (upper link). Aslo has egged the braket & worn the bolt.
DOes the Cal Mini lift run a standard hime joint?
Anyone got a part #
Or should I just redesign it with a larger Johnny Joint ?
-
Redesign!
:D

Who has the best deal on the RE joint / Johnny joint?
Any brand I should avoid?
My online time is limited right now (wife is sick and in ICU) and been too long since I've fabbed on the buggy.

Sorry to hear about your wife. try Ballistic Fabrication for joints.

Calmini just use a cheap 3/4" heim and they don't last >:( In the end I went back to a stock a-arm and made a spacer to the diff to suit.

If you want a JJ, you might as well just buy direct from Currie as everyone is about the same price. The bungs are the expensive part, you can get them cheaper from 3rd party manufactures. Unless you just thread your tube.

Is that what you used for the rear links your fabbed?

Jonny joints have a 2" that is 16x3/4 thread and will thread into the calmini upper arm. I'll try to find a pic.
