Title: Question on GPS Navigation units
Post by: MacZuki on October 25, 2008, 06:25:21 PM
So i did a search here and didnt find much on Navigation Units.

I'm looking to purchase a gps for my Sammi. But I want one that will leave the little "bread crumbs" as My built in unit does on the Wifes Lexus and my Hummer H2 does.

This would be great for off the beaten path, or where the trails are not registered.

any sugestions ?

What are you using ?

I use a Garmin Map60C. Its a hand held that you can buy a dashmount and DC powercord for, its in color and always draws a line behind you on the map so you can always turn around and follow the line. I also have a handle bar mount for it thats on my mountain bike, or you could do the same on an ATV. Its in color and the newer version has an SD slot to hold enormous maps with the use of a big SD card. Very good for the money!

if u go to garmins website and they will let you know which one u can go off road with i think nuv can do it. i have the base nuvi and i can use pin points to make my own route but i usually use it for mph because my speedo doesn't work
