Post by: v-stone on October 31, 2008, 08:18:05 PM
I thought I'd share this crazy video of a samurai playing in a water hole. See how fare they go!

Great snorkel action there.   Maybe the driver should have a snorkel too!!   Can a gasoline engine do that?  Or is that diesel?

as long as you have snorkel and some peps say to have a exhaust stack its fine. i use electric grease on all my connections and put a light coat of silicon on the dist cap, and to the intake clamps to keep water out of that too

I find it very hard to believe it's a "gas" engine. Ing. systems don't do well under water. Not to mention how long he drives around. My money is on a diesel motor .

what makes a difference in it being a diesel and a gas engine. both needs air and both needs to let the exhaust out.

the only difference is one uses a spark the other uses compression.

im going to have to get a a video of me but lately there is nothing to deep and the water is cold as hell

A diesel will generally run as long as it has air and gas.  It doesn't require spark, so the electrical isn't near as much of an issue.  :)
