arb`s new catalog says you can install a locker on a 98-05 xl7 using vitara third and 26 spline axles.i thought they were weaker and not a good option. anyone know will it work or hold up                                                                                                                                                                                     thanks joe

ARB is wrong.  That will work for the GV's but not XL's   :(  The rear is a something kind 28 or 29 spline and much larger than GV or kick for that matter.
