89 suzuki sidekick 8 valve 1.6 when i bought it i changed the crank bearings and did the headgasket
i noticed it had an ac condensor fan so for good measure and since i wasnt going to run the ac nomore i hard wired it to the ignition to run constant today i installed a switch since its getting cold in illinois
now heres the challenge its losing water not going in the oil not going on the ground and as far as i can tell not going in the exhaust and theres no heat it doesnt even get warm enough for heat now i know i need to go ahead and put a thermostat in it but still it should get warm enough without for some kind of an air temperature change.
its not leaking into the floorboard from the heater core either
wheres the water going?? kick runs fine otherwise has that same weird idle problem every foreign car or truck ive ever owned has had but thats not an issue or concern for me.
i just wanna know where the friggin waters going

start your rig and jump out and open the radiator cap.... when it is cold! lol see if it bubbles, if it does, check your head gasket job.

it bubbles so my heads cracked more then likely then still dont know where the waters going though

It's most likely leaking into the cylinders and burning off.

i just though about this im not sure if it will work but it wont hurt to try.
run the motor so its warm then pull the plug wires or coil wire and crank a couple of times and then pull the plug and see if theres steam coming out of the hole or moisture on the plug it self.
like i said it might work, ive never done it or heard of the idea but i think theres a good chance it might work.

If it ain't leakin', it's burnin'. Time for new parts.

i put a thermostat in it today and some blue devil (water glass) got my heat back dunno about the water loss problem
but the way i see it it didnt over heat in the dead of summer it dont need fixed run her till she quits and figure something out from there 4.3 chevy perhaps
