Went wheeling on Sunday up a local mountain. (I've posted some pics of this trail before)
I only got stuck once, and it was due to some carnage  :(. I bent the centerlink in my steering assembly.  >:(
Here’s a few pics of my truck. (Didn’t get many. I was too busy taking pics of the other rigs)

Riding the hard line.  ;D

That’s my friend Ken, enjoying the ride.

Popping out of the ditch... Took a few attempts to get enough momentum to launch out. Got some nice air under the front tires on each attempt. Here are some poser shots from the failed attempts. (tires aren’t spinning)

This is where I bent my centerlink.  The driver side front tire in this pic SHOULD be pointing straight ahead. ;) The center link was bend so badly that it binded up against the axel-housing hanger and seized my steering all together.
I was scared that I would need a tow down the mountain, but my friend thought up a good idea.  We wrapped a tow strap around the bend in the centerlink and then wrapped the other side of the strap around a tree.  I gunned the truck in reverse a few times and it started to straighten out the bend.  We got it pretty straight then adjusted the tierods to give me some alignment.  It was good enough to get me home. ÂÂ
I went to the wreckers the next day to get a new centerlink, and I found a PS unit too!  Score!  I'm going back on Friday to rip the PS out.  8)
Cheers

My other friend Ken is driving a full size blazer with mog axels. (and a ton of other mods. This truck was in tough truck challenge a few years back)
My friend Mike was driving a full size jeep wagon.
And my friend Chris was driving a Stock TJ.
My frined in the Blazer is absolutely crazy, and always puts on a good show. Haha he'll purposely go forward and reverse through an obsticle just to get the truck to lift tires and lean out. ;D
We were also accomponied by two guys in a Full size pickup. They were real nice and the rig was pretty sweet. But unfortunately I have forgotten their names (damn memory >:( )
Heres a link to all the pics.

Is the Blazer the same one on bc4x4.com (http://www.bc4x4.com/fv/2002/hulk/)?

Ya its the "Hulk"

Good to hear from you again, great pics and I'm glad your Zuk is ok. :)

Make sure you check the entire steering assembly. the idler arm and all 3 links. I have seen those weaken after trama and break. They are cast parts so they don't lend themselves to being straightened out very well. those parts are super cheap and I usually carry at least on of the side drag links as a spare. Pull your taillight out and shove it in there.. I used to carry spare axles behind the tail lights too!

Great pics. Like the wheelies ;D
Its kind've fun to run with different rides, you get to see what lines really work and not. ;)

Is the Hulk still owned by Rob Bryce? Why hasn't he design something for your steeting situation?

Just been busy with work and whatnot. Haven’t really had anything exciting to talk about so I took a break from posting. :P
I've been selected as an organizer for an up coming Suzuki trail fest called "Zuks on the rocks"
I think this will be the second or third annual, so we should have a good turn out. We recently cleared a boatload of new trails, so it should be cool to see the zuks rip it up. 8)
I'm going to collect all the vids & photos from the event and do a big write up. Then perhaps I can get Eric to post it up as an article.

A couple of things. :) First, please contact me. I maybe able to help sponsor your event. Second, whenever there's an event or something cool involving Suzuki vehicles. Please feel free to contact me via email ebewley|removethispart|@zukiworld.com about doing a feature article. Feature articles are better than forum posts for a couple of reasons. More readership and better archiving for future continued readership. More people that see something = more that talk about it which = more that go next time!
Anyway, Kreg check your PM please.

Hi all...I'm Cara.  Kreg's talked enough about this site...I  had to come check it out.
I'm also this year's coordinator for Island4x4.com 's Zuks on the Rocks (ZOTR)  Kreg's right, this will be our 2nd year for the event, but Island4x4.com's 13th event.
Being on the Island and with limited facilities, we tend to keep the events small and relatively casual.  Last year's ZOTR had 32 Zuks attending. ÂÂ

Even though we had record rainfalls all during the week prior and our original campsite got flooded, the organizers managed to get a new campsite and took us all out on some fantastic trails made all the more challenging by the runoff. ÂÂ

This is our Leader Monkey drivng our Admin Monkey's LJ up a trail typical of the type we're opening here.  This particular trail was especially tight, made for the stock Zuk axle width.  The boys running Toy axles were creative in their aaproaches, trying to get through.
