Hi
I have a 1988 Samurai w stock suspencion and 215/75/15 w 15 x 8 wheels. I need a little lift in the front(about 1 inch or 2)because my tires are rubbing w the corner of the bumper.
I dont have experience w lifting stuffs.
What you think is the best way to go?
If I use 2"shackles, I need to change or modify something?.

Cut the corners of your bumper forward about 2". If it's not rubbing on the back of the fender or the top, that is the easiest way.

Hey I'm running the same size tire and rim as you and mine don't rub on my 86 tintop.everything is stock on mine.cutting the corner is the easiest way breck out the sawzaw

Had to look through my archives. Most of us are running custom bumpers or we tear them off on the trail. :P Found a couple from the Fall Adventure Run a few years ago.
