Title: Storage ideas

I've been thinking about making some kind of storage for my 4-door. I like the simplicity of this:

Anyone know how to make something like this? Where to get these latches?

Another clean install, I presume the thing on top slides out on that platform somehow?

Those latches look like standard eye bolts.

You might look at picking up some Cleats.  They have the folding/pop-up ones if you want a smooth finish.

I think he was talking about the latches in the panel itself.  I've been looking for latches for my hard top and I think I've seen them when doing searches.  They seem to be common on music gear and marine applications.  I think they are called slam latches.

Ah, that would make sense.  :D

I would look at Marine applications.  On a boat you really want the flush latches.  :)

Marine supplies would be a good place for latches, probably get some nice looking ones there.  Or I would look for truck tool box latches, or even RV latches.

On the sides are these little rectangles with pull out hooks. They say "Ford" on 'em. I don't know what they came off of, got 'em at a garage sale.
