SiKid,
Welcome to the Zukiworld BBS. To post pics they must be hosted on a web page with a link. If you do not have one on a web page go to http:// http://www.eye-irritant.com/upload/ Use the brouse to find the pic of your choice, then hit upload. When the file is done uploading clicl the copy button. Then paste the link into your thread.

i was down at the local SUPERCHEAP store, and pulled up next to a couple of other vitaras.

heres a pic. just goes to show how small Darwin is, and you hardly ever see more than one vitara at a time in any one place.

Welcome,
Nice looking rig.
who in australia do you get aftermarket parts from besides Old Man Emu/ARB?

I have run across a couple sites like

http://www.suzisport.com/
http://www.bigballsoffroad.com/index.htm
http://www.ironmansuspension.com/

any input on those companies?

hi all,

explosivo:
yes the front bar is an aluminium bar, but i got at it with an angle grinder, and cut off the two side bars that went around the headlights. there was also a bar accross the bottom, but it hit on everything, so i cut that off too.

Hutch:
i'm a student, studying Graphic Design, and i don't really have a steady job, depends on school workloads etc., so i find it hard to go to these companies for spares/after market parts, as they are, to me, very expensive.

but yes, i have heard of these companies, and i have heard that they are quite good.

here is a link for more business links, taken from outerlimits4x4 forum.
http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/PHP_Modules/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5061

that should help, if you want to find out about business/companies here in Australia.

Most of the mods on my vitara, i've done myself, and i've since found out, not that i didn't know already, that cheap, is hardly ever better.

but it all works! thats all i want, i just want to drive what my mates can't! they got land cruisers, and hiluxes etc. bigger is better, but when small can beat big, we love it.

you know what i mean.

cheers, steve

I like the look of it... I've now got inspiration for my next bump ;D

'course it'll most likely be for a fullsize Bronco rather than the Tracker :(

Suzuki is pretty popualr in the Lands Down Under...I think Australia was the first country that Suzuki ever exported too.

Welcome aboard and have fun, this is the best Suzuki site on the net.

hey sam, have you made any roof racks/roof carriers?

i want to get one made, so i can put my spare on the roof, and maybe a hi-lift jack, and make jerry can holders for the rear door. (one water, one fuel)

i'm currently looking for/at ideas, and other peoples racks. i'm deciding to use 2" steel.

any ideas, what works and what doesn't?
anyone who knows, or has experience, i'd like to hear from you.

thanks in advance.

Don't put them on the roof to much weight up there.Iwould make a rear bar with a wheel  carrier and gerry can holder.I have a pic of one we did.
