I am looking to put some t case gears in my trackick! Any recommendations on who's to use!
-
The only gears available for the TracKick is the 4:1 gear set. Just give Low Range Off-Road a call and they can hook you up.
One thing to keep in mind is that the high range is NOT reduced like it is on the Samurai T-Case kits. Only the low range.

Sorry about the misunderstanding! I knew that the onlt gearset is 4:1 and that it onlt effects the low range! What i was refering to was, are there better manufactures then others! For example are Calmini better then Low range! Or all they basically the same!

Should be 4.24:1, but who's counting. Go with Trail Tough. Fast, friendly, knowledgable service, and you'll save a couple hundred bucks, which goes a long way if you're having your favorite driveline shop do the install.

Trail Tough x2. Abuddy and I put them in his kick with a twin stick in a day.

Both TT and Low-Range have good reputations.
Your OTHER option is to do dual cases (sami behind kick), but that will instantly give you 40% reduction (kick hi-range = 1:1, samurai = 1.4:1) in hi range... so... unless you're planing on running some 35" tires, it may not be your thing.

here is the installation article we have, just incase you haven't seen it.

The installation is actually really straight forward. While you have the case apart I would install a twin stick if you can get one.. 37kicker had them but I haven't spoken to him in awhile and I am not sure if they are still available. I think if we bother evil twin enough they will have a DIY kit on the market before to long. I love my gears and I love my twin stick even more!
I have run both calmini and trailtough gears and I have been happy with both. Trailtough periodically has their gears on sale and they even may be right now for the holidays.
