Title: how strong is a sammi t-case
Post by: tracker8wr on December 30, 2008, 06:22:35 PM
this is a subjective question. however i am planning to build twins trackers on hp44s and a 9"s with 40" tires will a sami case stand up to this. any thoughts? it will run tracker auto running gear to a kicker3 to a sammi case with a gear reduction, 5 somehting ratio in axles locked. i have no experuiance with sammi cases strength i would like to use it do to the high range reduction. i have biuld several rigs and currently have a grand cherokee on 38.5 swampers with the same axle setup i am capable of the build. they will be multi link with fox single rate air shocks.

Some people make a ring that bolts all the way around it - Rock Rat makes & sells one. Other people use the mighty kong to give extra strength, and others use both...

The case will survive most use, but some people are hard on them and do crack the cases. When I go dual, I will be adding a little protection of some kind because I'm paranoid.
