Title: What parts can i snag off of an 89 sidekick for my 91 samurai??

Just like the subject says, my son is getting rid of his 89 sidekick, so before i haul the rest away what parts might i be able to use off of his pos?

Is it a 1.3 or 1.6? if its a 1.3 then the diffs are worth a reasonable amount. If it has a good 1.6 then I'd put that in the Sammy and the power steering too if it has it.

* Engine, wiring harness & ECU
* Power steering
* Trans & t-case if you want dual cases
* Disc breaks
* Hubs (will require modification to fit, but they're good trail spares)
* The rear light that illuminates license plate looks sweet on Sami t-gate
* Dome light
* Seats

I'm sure I'm forgetting something. I made a master list one time, but it's buried in the archives somewhere...

Its the 1.3 i believe.

If it's the 1.3, the diff gears are RARE, and worth some $$$. PM me if they are, I'm interested.

A few simple ways to tell if it is a 1.3 or 1.6 engine.....
carb=1.3
EFI=1.6
v belts=1.3
ribbed belts=1.6
"canister" type coil=1.3
"squarish" type coil=1.6
"1324" stamped on the left rear flange of the engine (where the tranny mounts up to it)=1.3
"1598" (I think) stamped on the left rear flange of the engine=1.6
