hello everyone, new to the site and suzukis. my 4door 95 sidekick wont start and i cant hear the pump and it will start on ether, so i'm leaning towards the pump. i've noticed the parts stores sell different pumps for japan built and canada built kicks, and i was thinking of grabbin a used one but wasn't sure if there is a real difference between the pumps. ???

uh i found the answer: japan pump is 2 grounds canada is 1 ground. thanks

That's an interesting difference. I wonder what they changed electrically.

still not sure what else is different. all i know is i have an 95 japan built sidekick and the fuel pump is way more money than the canadian built one. all the cheap ebay ones that cost 20 to 60 bucks don't work (or maybe they do, i don't know) the one i need is like 170

just found over on the zuwharrie site that my rig runs the FI samurai pump,(e2111) and that the cheaper canadian(e8229) built pump is actually an upgrade and fits my rig with no mods.
