I have a 1991 chevy s10 pickup with a 2.5L 4 cycl. motor which i plan to put into my 87' samurai. this swap seems indeed possible. the only question i have thus far is how to put in the ignition system into the samurai since it is set up completely different. any suggestions?

what would be difficult in the ingnition. its crank based ignition,
crank sensor sends signal to coil to fire. what might make it easier to setup is go to a wrecker and find an older s10/gm with the distributor driven ignition timing. (1987 and earlier if i remember right)
