ARHHHHHHH i ripped my sidekicks front bumper and broke my grill while parking today!!!! there was a small short steel pole filled with concrete stuck in the road on the passenger side which i couldn't see, and it hooked onto my bumper and pulled half of it off and bent my bumper mounts! arhhh, i need to buy a new set now!

your just looking at this the wrong way. now you have an excuse to ether just toss the bumper cover or buy a new aftermarket bumper! ;)

Just fab you a nice intimidating steel bumper that will make those cement filled pipes think twice about crossing your path again! M.Z. ;D

i would love to, but my dad want to add the standard bumper back on, soooooo what i am gonna do is turn the broken one into a cooler looking one,

believe it or not I managed to rip my calmini winch bumper of the Trackick. I couldn' t believe that it came off that easy, destroyed the mounts and the section of the frame that the mounts fit to.
All over trying to straiten it out after an accident. I ended up going to a friend that's a pretty good weilder and two hours with a lot of extra steal I couldn't remove it if I had to.
It came of with tying it off to a fire hydrant and reversing fast. Oh yeah and it's still not strait

I want to know why you tied it off on a hydrant! :o

ARRRRRRRHHHHH WHY ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This hasn't been my week end for my zuk at all!!!! Today i was drivin to a friend's house, and i just started to go up a slight hill in 5th gear, the revs then started to drop, so i changed down to 4th, still continued to drop, changed to 3rd, still, down to second still, by this time i reached the top of the hill, and i was still losing power on a flat road, so i pulled over, and got out of my car, to see my front disk brakes smoking!!!!!
My brake all seized up for no reason!!!!!:ban my dad came along and sorta fixed it, but still not 100% cos they are still like lightly applied, which is how i think they were before, so i think i may have found my cause of bad milage, now on monday i need to take it in to have the brakes checked, and see if i need to change the pads or disks
Oh well another think to add to my todo list:
Buy Grill
Buy bumper
Possibly buy bumper mount
check brake system!

My winch bumper did the same, i was winching up a hill and the top mounts went, it hung on by teh bottom mounts so i could winch back down again, i have pic somewhere,
I sent an email to calmini regarding the mounts and didnt get a reply,
I too have been around a mates and added lots more bits on it so i think the car would break in half before the bumper came off

After looking at the little 10mm bolts that hold that winch bumper on I decided to weld it on. I think thats the Idea but the instructions must've gotten lost in the mail ;)
