Title: next ?, just bought a sammy with a 3.8 ford FI- what t-case
Post by: dres0081 on January 25, 2009, 01:32:28 AM
So i found another sammy with a 3.8 FI ford engine with yota axles and for $400 couldnt pass it up, I bought it for the yota axles but am thinking of running it, what t-case should i run sammy stock t-case, or one out of a ranger or s-10. I have no clue what would work best im used to running the suzuki 1.3 with my other sammy. anyone done this swap before and have any tips?

all ford t cases have the same bolt pattern but drop on the wrong side for toy axles      a jeep spicer 20 or dana 300 would work good for size and there strong
What t case dose it have now

thats the problem i bought it without the t-case, i was just going to part it out basically for the axles and steering box but decided a v-6 sammy could be fun.
