Excellent.  You find a way to firm up the auto's shifting, lemmeknow.  I actually like it quite a lot, but wide-open-throttle shifts are waaay too lazy.

They are the "same" vehicle for all intensive purpose. The newer ones do ride and drive alot better though. My neighbor's girlfriend had an 03 Grand Vit, man that thing was nice. MUCH more refined than the ole Sport.

Switching from a 97 Sidekick 4 door to a 01 Vitara 4 door...indeed it's the same, but different...MUCH much quieter, a little more bottom-end torque, a nice dead-pedal, and way more interior storage areas.

I pretty much figured that.

The ride is smoother and its much quieter.

*thinks about what he can do to make the other tracker cushier*

I see you're from Hawaii 8) guess that means there's never a speck of rust. Looks good.

Youre joking right.  Theres a salt water ocean surrounding the island.

But no, this one doesnt seem to have much rust.  My other cars however.......

Don't use the gauge to measure mileage.  Just fill up to the same point (so the level is just visible in the filler) at the pump, record the amount added and the miles between fills.  Divide the miles by the amount added and you have your mpg.
