I have seen couple of guys add GV front springs to a track/kick. So does anybody know how much lift you gain by doing that?
What about OME GV front springs? Would they be any different? Just the regular 1.5" longer than stock right?
OME springs come in 2 rates for GV, medium and heavy duty, which one would work best under a track/kick?

I have the OME 962 Grand Vitara heavy duty springs and 2" spring spacer in a 3" Calmini suspension lift along with the OME struts. I have a Shrockworks bumper and Warn winch and it seems to be an excellent match. I am not sure without the bumper and winch it would be a good choice. It rides great with this setup. I also have the OME 955 springs in the back with a 1" spring spacer and OME shocks.
The OME 962 is 12.6" long and the stock front Sidekick spring is about 10.7" and 4 door spring is 10.9"

Thanks for the info. Im just checking my options right now, but im gonna be replacing springs within the month.
Are XL7 front springs the same diameter as track/kick front springs? The OME XL7 springs have a closer rate, so if I dont run a heavy front bumper, then my ride wont suffer.

I've used GV and XL-7 springs under the front of Trackicks before. Only the XL-7s are a recent trial for me. They seem to ride much better than the GVs did with the same weight/size truck. A 4 door Trackick. The XL-7s almost seem like they might be a variable rate instead of a specific rate spring. The ride quality is quite significantly improved from stock. The ride height gain was around 2 3/4" after initial spring settle.

The XL7 springs have a spring rate that is about 40 pounds lighter than the GV, they should ride very well under my really light 2 door.
