I just had a new motor build with .50 flattop pistons. I was thinking about a gen2 cam and a standard head.
and I had someone tell me to do the 16 Valve tracked head instead.
1. Will that even work
2. has anyone done this before
3. advantages/Disasvanteges
Thanks

The Chevy Metro 4 door in around 2000-ish used a head similar to the 16v 1.6 only with slightly smaller valves and ports. You could use that if you really wanted to have the 16v experience and use the manifolds/wiring from the 16v 1.6 or use a twin cam 16v head from a Swift GT and make that work. But you would be just about as benefitted by using the 8v 1.6 head and carb it using a Harley carb setup from like Petroworks with a mild to wild cam.
