Title: mounting lights on windsheild post??

anyone done this on a track/kick? im looking for some advice before i start drilling??

best advice i can give ya before ya start drilling is to plan placement of the lights, and build from there, i used some flat stock and a bench vice and a tape measure...dont remember exact specs, but i used an angle finder for building chassis to be exact...

yeah thats exactly what i want to do! i have 2 hella lights and they come with a swivel bracet so i think i could just drill them straight to it...but im kind of afraid im gunna drill into the windsheild? does the windsheild go into the metal that far?
