Title: Input shaft worn?

Is it common for the tranny input shaft to get a grove where the pilot bearing rides? where can i get a new in put shaft?

Yeah, it is pretty common.  What I have done to get around buying a new input shaft is run a wider pilot bearing that will ride on the unworn parts of the shaft.

Mine was all worn down like that too, i was bummed when i found out i had to fork out even more cash on my transmission.

thats how it looks r there new ones available?   i want to rebuild the whole tranny
