Looks good Jeff!!

I REALLLLLY need to remove the front sway bar!! Notice how the fronty does not articulate at all. That will be done this week yet.
-
Does anyone make quick disconnects for them like the jeep? Im not sure I would want it off a daily driver.
-
Where's the snow?? ???
:P
Excellent looking rig! Very clean...very nice.

Hey Jeff, Superzuki's lookin good. I'm also thinkin about losin my sway bar for more flex, I wonder if it'll hurt the on road handling too much?

Like I said "a little" snow. That is about as good as it gets in Southern IL. Thanks for the compliment, it is clean too, I had just washed it at the carwash in front of the field I'm in ;D

Oh, brother. This topic comes up a couple times a year and....there is no consensus.
Both sides of the discussion think the other side is insane. Best to just try it for yourself and see where it leads you.

Nope. Seen a few guys that have fabbed up their own (sleeves and pins), but I've never seen anything retail. If there were, I'd buy.

2 cents: Haven't have a sway bar for 6 years...

Mine is off now and for good. I broke the links in half trying to get the nuts off. Oh well, I can't go back now.

Lol...hope you're happy with the results!
Now post some "after" pics!!!!

I'll post some next week. I am going hunting this weekend with some buddies. We are going to Central Missouri to hunt wild hogs and Elk on a friend of ours game farm. I'll be back Sunday so maybe I'll have some pics.

This is a "little snow"
Rig looks good, it's about time you figured out how to post pics ;)

Ha, Ha, I figured it out a long time ago. I really wish we did get more snow but I do love the warm temps here in fall and spring so you can't have it all. Thanks for the compliment. I installed the PVC snorkel today also. I'll have pics of that later as well.

I actually prefer mine to be on when on-street. If I go anywhere I need articulation, it's only a couple bolts (12mm?) to pop it off.

I also would like to be able to switch it over quickly, but I broke both the bolts offwhen trying to remove it so it is gone for good. I drove it tonight and did not notice much difference. I was not going through the slalom course though.

My background is non-truck, non-offroad, somewhat heavily Corvette-based asamatteroffact, and I feel a TON of difference without the anti-sway bar. Off-road, it's a bonafide liability. On-road, I refuse to go far without it, and in fact installed the stouter XL-7 bar on my SWB truck when I put the heavier (but not that much heavier) motor in. It handles significantly better, and I often consider putting a bar on the rear, too.
Like I said, you've got to decide for yourself. Until The Man decides to legislate it, that is..

I need more weight on my front bumper (the springs I got were for a heavy bumper & winch) to get the alignment back in spec... so I really notice a difference without the sway bar in turns.

Risking too much disclosure, I work for a company that deals with aligners. I'm very leery of using alignment bolts or slotting holes, so I'm concerned about going from my 1" spring spacers (easy to re-align to specs) to 1.5" spacers, which are alleged to need slotting/bolts. I'm wondering if 1" wheel spacers might provide sufficient leverage to make up the difference. Any insight?
-
I slotted my EMU struts. Just take weld in a washer if you're worried about anything coming loose. The way I treat my tracker in the dunes, I'd break alignment bolts too often.
-
I kinda like the way mine looks with posi camber...or is it negative? /shrug.
Regardless....I've never had brand new tires before...so the way I see it...I'll have more lift and need bigger tires anyway before these are worn out.

I use 1.5" spacers and 1.5" wheel spacers. Mine is not cambered out at all. I thunk the wheel spacers do add enough leverage.
