So I wake up today, get ready for work tonight, and on my way here I notice this rough vibration slowly developing. About a mile away from work, I start smelling something really bad. It almost smelled like brakes. My first thought, great, I have a brake sticking and burning up. My drive to work is about 15 miles through nothing. No houses, no stores, nothing. Just open land and fields. So, I baby it to work and when I get in the parking lot, I look all under it and notice something. The rear U-joint to my rear driveshaft is twisted. Looks like the cap came apart and it burned up. Its sitting out there smoking as I type this. Im gonna let it cool down, then go pull the driveshaft and change it out on my small breaks that I do get.. Any tips or hints on a quick and easy Ujoint change?
Thanks
(looks like its past time for a stronger drivetrain...)

Get the DS into a shop for new joints,
I wouldn't want to try and change them
in a parking lot, it's bad enough when
you have a press, sorry for the bad news.
Or you could get a used DS from a wrecking
yard and swap it out quick, just 4 bolts/nuts
and you on the road again

Got it. Me and another guy used the old 2 sockets and a hammer way.. Good thing I tryed to think ahead and put a spare new U-joint in my glove box a year or so ago just for the occasion... I had to do something so I could have a ride home from work in the morning when I get off..

Im on the hunt for a stronger drivetrain... Thinkin bout yota axles, w/ S15 Tcase.

S15 case with yotas won't work. The S15 front diff is on the left, the yota is on the right. Sorry. If you want to add strength that way, go with yotas, a th350 with a toy case adaptor, a toy case and modified toy drivelines.
