Title: Old Man Imu 2" Suspension Lift for 1996 Geo Tracker 2 Door
Post by: meastman on February 18, 2009, 08:45:43 AM
Has anyone done this lift?  I would like to know which springs to use...medium or heavy duty?  Would like to hear the feedback!  This is for trailriding in the desert and some rock crawling.  Thanks!  Mike

You might want to do a search.

Old Man Emu lift or OME lift.

I have the coils, but I went a different route.

(they will be available)  ;)

They will?  Interesting... :D

OME has a great reputation, it's hard to say "don't" other then they are a bit more expensive.  :)

If you can afford it, OME is the way to fly.

I went with longer springs up front 'casue the plan was to add winch bumper & winch. Go with "stock" stiffness (lowrangeoffroad.com will know the part #) if you plan on staying with stockish weight up front.
