Besides the cold air and headers what other mods are out there? and can you really tell the difference.

You got it.  Open up the air intake, improve the exhaust with headers OR cheaper yet, increase the exhaust tube size and slap a turbo muffler on it.   Other than those items I haven't heard of any other significant improvements to the the 2 liter.  No aftermarket cams, etc.  You could pull your engine and send it/take it to Reynolds machine shop and let him mill on it though... I'm sure he could pull another 40 HP out of it.  If you have the bucks for it.  I don't but you might.

Nothing that makes any noticeable difference. Best thing I did for power was put sidekick 5:13 gears in.
