Title: Will 89/90 Sidekick 5 speed bolt into a 96 16v Sidekick ?

Im done with my automatic 4X trans. & found a used 5speed 4X trans. Does anyone know if the older transmission will bolt in. The bodys & frame look the same so.....? 1989 into 1996 ?      ???

Double check the length of the 2 trans, I think the 4spd auto is a little longer than the older 5 spd

whats the matter with your auto?

thats may not as easy of a swap as you think. there are a few wiring issues to take care of, plus pedals and such
