(wondering about throwing one in my kick in that same space (although retaining the cig lighter, got 2 gps that need power...) and need to know if its got a base mounted speaker, nothing on the site)

It has a unit based speaker! It has a jack for an external speaker though. Thats all i am doing!

Post by: mike5721947 on February 24, 2009, 09:15:36 AM: damn. cause i can get ahold of either a dx 19 IV or a 18 WX ST 2 here only. no real places i can find online that sell them locally (dealers) and those 2 are from WALLYWORLD. so they obviously arnt quality.

plus i so want the PA system... would make it a bit more apparnt to other drivers to get out of the way... (those lovely people that stop to have a conversation with another car while in their car)

The 19 does PA and external speaker. And small enough to fit in the ashtray hole.
