I was wondering does anybody know the biggest tire I could put on a stock 99 tracker soft top 1.6 4X4.I saw a stock ZR2 soft top with 235 75 15 tires on it but I do not know if there is a difference in clearance on a regular and a ZR2 tracker,The owner of the ZR2 told me he made no modification to his and it does not rub or cause any problems.
Any help would be appreciated,
Randy :)

I recommend you get jeff's spacer lift, it's only about as expensive as an extra tire. Then you can fit about 29-30"s ;) I think 235s will fit stock though.

I agree with topheavy96. The only differerence I am aware of in the fender area between base models and the ZR2 is the ZR2 comes with the fender molding, 6 inch rims versus 5.5 inch rims, and 215 tires versus 205s. 235/75/15s should fit ZR2s with no significant problem I saw a 2-door ZR2 with 225/75/15s on it and there was plenty of clearance. I put 235/70/15s and a set of 235/75/15s on two regular Trackers (not ZR2s) before I lifted them and the only rub I had was on full lock-up turning. They are both now lifted and I still get some rubbing on full lock up. But I rarely turn that hard. Rarely. I'm sure I could pop a set of 30/9.50/15s on without too much more rubbing, I just want to step up to more differential gear before I do... and also get the full wear out of the tires I'm currently running first.

What is Jeffs spacer lift?
A good inexpensive way to mount bigger tires.

Hi it's Jeff. ;D My spacer lift is 1.5" coil and strut spacers for the front and 2" coil spacers for the rear. This gives you a full 2" of suspension lift all around and will not affect the drive or ride. It is easy to install and pretty cheap. The 99 and newer version costs $155 total shipped to you in the US or $170 to Canada. The only thing you will need to add are longer rear shocks. Monroe-matic #32260 fits great.

With yhe space lift do I have to modify any of the lines or cables Etc, on my tracker to use it?

I didn't have to modify the brake lines or hoses, but I did extend the rear axle vent hose, and moved the rubber mounts for the E-brake cables.

i have not modified lines yet.. my rear lines with approx 3inches of susp and 2inch bl, however i think i will have to look at loosening up mounting points for the lines when adding long shocks this year, things are maxed out.
